I just realized where I the seed for my red wedding dress came from. I’m watching Oliver Stone's Wild Palms on DVD, which I watched when I was in high school. I was obsessed with it and even recorded it on the vhs. I loaned the tapes to my best friends brother and he never returned them. I still want them back. But anyways…Kim Cattrall is in it and gets married in a very dramatic bright red wedding ensemble-kinda 80’s with a twist of chinoiserie and the bustle of the last century. That’s my idea of a statement. Why get married in white today when brides aren’t virgins?
